“Here is a message from all of us Patelian who came to know Raja during our stay at Kharagpur.

We deeply mourn the passing away of our dear friend Raja, always jovial and cheerful and a pleasant company to all of his hallmates, very sociable and actively involved in Hall activities, particularly in matters literary. His writings, ornamental and often decked with rhetorical flourishes were a constant source of joy for those who liked narratives that had a touch of humor combined with  a sense of adventure,  often trenchant and piercing against seeming acts of injustice !

We are deeply grieved and offer our heartfelt condolences at this moment of sorrow and wish you peace comfort and courage “.
